How to Request Account Deletion
The Edvansh app is a closed school management platform. All user accounts (teachers and parents) are created and managed by your school's administrator — not independently by users through the app.
To request deletion of your account and associated data, follow the steps below:
Step 1 — Contact Your School Administrator
Your primary point of contact is your school's Edvansh administrator. They can deactivate your account immediately within the admin panel. This is the fastest route and is recommended for all users.
Step 2 — Contact Edvansh Support (if needed)
If you are unable to reach your school administrator, or if your school has ended their subscription, email us directly:
- Email: support@edvansh.com
- Subject line: Account Deletion Request
- Include: Your full name, the school name, and your registered email address or user code
We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.
What Data Is Deleted
Upon a verified account deletion request, the following personal data is permanently removed:
- Your name, email address, and mobile number
- Your login credentials and account access
- Your push notification tokens (device identifiers)
- Your profile photograph (if uploaded)
- Your message threads and chat history within the app
What Data Is Retained
Certain data linked to your account is retained for legal, operational, and academic record-keeping purposes even after account deletion:

These records are anonymised or de-linked from your personal identifiers where possible. They belong to the school institution and are necessary to maintain the integrity of student and operational records.
Data Retention Timeline
- Account deactivation: immediate (blocks login access)
- Personal data deletion: within 30 days of a verified request
- Institutional records (attendance, marks, fees): retained for the duration of the school's subscription, then deleted within 90 days of subscription end
